The UAE delegation headed by Humaid Obaid Abushibs, President of the UAE Accountability Authority (UAEAA), participated in the 21st International Anti-Corruption Conference held in Vilnius, Lithuania from 18th to 21st June, under the theme "Confronting Global Threats: Standing Up for Integrity.”
The UAEAA’s participation reflects the UAE government's commitment to promoting international dialogue and cooperation to achieve integrity on a global scale.
On the sidelines of the conference, the delegation met with Linas Pernavas, President of the General Assembly of the European Partners Against Corruption (EPAC), European Union Anti-Corruption Contact Network (EACN), and Special Investigation Service (STT) in Lithuania, and Veronica Dragalin, Chief of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Moldova, to discuss ways of cooperation between the UAE and participating countries in the field of enhancing integrity.
