The Thesis Hall offers a collection of 2,000 dissertations, gifted by different universities and international research centres to be forever treasured at Khalifa Park Library.

An additional 1,900 titles in several different languages are displayed in the Rare Books Hall, in addition to a one-of-a-kind “Emirates and Gulf Books Collection” that offers an impressive 21,000 books on numerous topics related to the GCC region.

Even the Reading Hall has a collection of books on display, mainly science and reference books. In addition to books, the library has a workspace that is guaranteed to get anyone’s productivity running high.

Kids Zone

The children’s annex library houses around 10,000 books, a quiet reading hall, a computer corner, as well as a teens’ section. The colourful space is full of interactive props, books, and toys on every shelf and in every corner.

While reading, young readers are surrounded by artsy bookends, globes, toy skeletons, and games that keep them engaged and entertained. Different seating options are provided including a colourful area with seats and tables near the main entrance, as well as sofas on the side for a more comfortable option.

Besides the books exploring the UAE and its rich heritage, the space celebrates Emirati culture through art. Art on the walls includes an image of the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, as well as drawings of an Emirati family wearing traditional attire as they explore the country’s beautiful desert.

There is also an impressive innovation section, a section for French books with more than 400 books, and dictionaries.

Among the many activities hosted by the library are book signings, art displays, storytelling sessions, National Day celebrations, and Back-to-School get-togethers.
