The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment shared six ways to promote sustainable gastronomy in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
The ministry shared an informative video with the following caption, "We're celebrating today Sustainable Gastronomy Day, a style of cooking that aims to reduce waste and use resources responsibly, and we present 6 ways to promote sustainable gastronomy."
The suggested ways are:
- Use organic products
- Use biodegradable materials (leaves, fruits, and vegetables)
- Minimise food waste by using leftovers and remaining nutrients
- Use energy efficiently
- Use water efficiently
- Plant vegetables and fruits in the garden for later use in cooking
