Dubai Municipality has revealed that the number of sacrifices is expected to reach 25,000 by the end of Eid Al Adha as its slaughterhouses boast a combined capacity of 1,000 slaughters per hour.

Al Qusais slaughterhouse can process 600 slaughters per hour, followed by Al Quoz and Al Lisaili each at 150, and 100 at the Hatta slaughterhouse.

Dubai Municipality has implemented a comprehensive maintenance plan for the slaughterhouses, equipping them with all necessary facilities to ensure flexible, fast, and safe service provision.

Additionally, the option to purchase and prepare sacrificial meat, and have them delivered to homes via smart applications, is available, eliminating the need to visit the slaughterhouse in person. This is part of the municipality’s efforts to meet customer needs and provide services according to the highest standards of quality, health, and safety.

Dubai Municipality has implemented a comprehensive plan to ensure community safety for Eid Al Adha. A team of 60 officials, supervisors, and inspectors is working alongside 600 butchers and 75 veterinarians to ensure the safety of sacrificial meat.
