Miral has invited ten students from ADEK’s Rize University & Career Guidance Programme (UPCG) to visit its headquarters for an educational lecture about the entertainment and tourism industry, followed by a tour of Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
Organised for high school students in grades 9 – 12, the visit marked the launch of the Miral Empowers the Community series as part of its CSR commitment to education.
“By hosting the top students of the Rize UPCG Programme, we are engaging and empowering our future generations through edutainment,” said Taghrid Al Saeed, Miral's Executive Director of Group Communications and Destination Marketing. “Through Miral Empowers the Community, we strive to create a positive impact across all facets of society, fostering growth and prosperity through wellbeing, inclusivity and learning and development.”
Designed to provide a blend of education and entertainment, the visit started with a lecture by Al Saeed. Through her extensive industry experience, she provided the students with a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the tourism sector, emphasising on the importance of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Strategy 2030 and Miral’s role in contributing to the emirate’s tourism growth and economic diversification.
Following the lecture, the students transitioned from theory to practice with an exploration of Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, gaining insights into the operational aspects of developing and managing attractions.
