UAE weather forecast: NCM warns of fog or mist formation next week

ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The UAE’s National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) issued on Friday a weather forecast from Saturday June 1 to Wednesday June 5, 2024.

Saturday

WEATHER: Humid by morning with a chance of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas – fair in general.

WIND: Light to moderate North-westerly winds, freshening at times, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 35 Km/hr.

SEA: Slight to moderate, in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

Sunday

WEATHER: Humid by morning over some coastal areas – fair in general and hazy at times – Decrease in temperatures.

WIND: Light to moderate North-westerly winds, freshening gradually by noon especially Westward causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr.

SEA: Moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

Monday

WEATHER: Humid by morning with a probability of mist formation over some coastal or internal areas – fair in general. 

WIND: Light to moderate South-westerly to  North-westerly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr.

SEA: Rough at times during daytime becoming moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.

Tuesday

WEATHER: Fog or mist formation  over some internal and coastal areas – fair in general – Low clouds appear eastward. 

WIND: Light to moderate South-westerly to North-westerly winds, with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 30 Km/hr.

SEA: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Wednesday

WEATHER: Fog or mist formation  over some internal and coastal areas – fair in general – Low clouds appear eastward – Increase in temperatures especially in Southern areas. 

WIND: Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 30 Km/hr.

SEA: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
