The Dubai Police joined the community members on Friday to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development with community members at Mirdif City Centre.
The event saw a large turnout from various nationalities and age groups. It featured multiple activities, including performances by the Dubai Police musical band, luxury police patrols, sports demonstrations in para-taekwondo, a children's drawing workshop, competitions, and prize distributions.
Brigadier Ali Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, emphasised the importance of engaging the community in global cultural and humanitarian events, highlighting the rich cultural diversity present in the UAE, where various cultures coexist in a secure and happy environment.
Fatima Bouhajir, Head of the Positive Spirit Council at Dubai Police, stated that celebrating "World Day for Cultural Diversity" is an opportunity for community engagement. She explained that the Positive Spirit Council aims to enhance the quality of life and promote social harmony through its diverse events, fostering values such as tolerance and coexistence.
