Amira Ali Al Sarkal, Director of the Government Communications Department at the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (FAICCPS), has revealed plans to expand public communication efforts and promote investor-focused services throughout 2024.
Speaking to Aletihad, Al Sarkal outlined the Authority’s participation strategy for the year. This includes attending ten exhibitions, conferences, and events both domestically and internationally.
These events aim to stimulate tourism, attract investment capital to the UAE, and promote the various golden residency visa options.
“Our participation at the 13th session of the AIM Investment Summit serves a dual purpose,” Al Sarkal explained.
“Firstly, to showcase the types of services FAICCPS offers investors, including the different golden residency categories. Secondly, to introduce the business community to our comprehensive suite of 24/7 smart electronic services.”
“Investment specialists are available to answer inquiries directly from investors, entrepreneurs, and project owners,” she continued.
“These specialists can provide information on the requirements, procedures, and application processes for obtaining various golden residency categories.”
Travel fairs are another key focus area for FAICCPS this year, with the goal of supporting the nation’s tourism sector.
Following their participation in the Berlin Travel Fair, they plan to attend the upcoming London Travel Exhibition.
These participations aim to attract more tourists to the UAE. Domestically, FAICCPS will showcase its electronic services at GITEX Africa.
Additionally, they have coordinated with local tourism departments in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, and Sharjah to have specialists present at tourism platforms during international exhibitions and conferences.
“Visa and residency facilitation are major factors that tourists and investors consider when comparing destinations,” Al Sarkal stated in response to a question about investor interest.
“FAICCPS has observed significant interest from diverse investor groups in obtaining golden residency, particularly due to the attractive benefits offered by the UAE to attract direct investments.”
“The Authority is committed to communicating effectively with investors,” she concluded.
