On the second day of the Arabian Travel Market 2024, Dubai Police and Al Nabooda Automobiles unveiled the latest tourist Police Patrol 'Audi RS Q8'. The latest addition joined the Dubai Police's fleet of luxury patrols that aimed to enhance their operational efficiency and public presence in touristic places and landmarks.
The car unveiling was attended by Brigadier Musabah Saeed Al Ghafli, Deputy Director of the General Department of Organisation Protective Security and Emergency for Emergency Affairs, and Brigadier Dr. Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, Assistant Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigations for Administrative and Control Affairs.
Brigadier Dr. Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, Assistant Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigations for Administrative and Control Affairs, emphasised Dubai Police's commitment, under the guidance of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and the follow-up of His Excellency Expert Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commandant for Criminal Investigation Affairs, to incorporate advanced and luxurious security patrols into its fleet. "This initiative aims to bolster the security presence of police officers in crucial tourist destinations such as Burj Khalifa, Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, JBR, and other popular tourist areas," he continued.
Brig. Al Qamzi further indicated that Dubai Police are dedicated to upgrading their patrol vehicles, including electric or hybrid models, in alignment with global and government efforts to enhance police operations and provide an enriched experience for tourists.

Meanwhile, Brigadier Khalfan Al Jallaf, Director of the Tourist Police Department, praised the addition of the "Audi RS Q8" car, featuring a hybrid engine, to Dubai Police's fleet of luxury patrols. He highlighted the role of this patrol vehicle in enhancing the tourist experience by offering luxurious security patrols. "These patrols provide assistance during events and community initiatives, address tourists' inquiries, offer information, and ensure their overall sense of security throughout their stay in Dubai," he added.
The Audi RS Q8 boasts a powerful 4.0-litre V8 TFSI engine, packing an impressive 600 horsepower and a maximum torque of 800 Nm. Paired with the permanent quattro drive and the 8-speed tiptronic transmission, it delivers pure dynamism on the road.
