RAS AL KHAIMAH (WAM)
H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received on Friday Lyu Chengxi, Mayor of China's Dongguan Municipal Government, along with his accompanying delegation, at the Nad Al Habi Majlis in Saqr Bin Mohammed City.
The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah welcomed the Chinese delegation, stressing the depth of the friendly relations and bilateral cooperation existing between the United Arab Emirates and the People’s Republic of China, in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
During the meeting, the two sides explored opportunities for governmental, commercial, and investment cooperation between the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the City of Dongguan, aiming to foster prosperity and growth in both regions. Additionally, they discussed various economic matters of mutual interest.
For his part, Mayor Lyu Chengxi expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by Sheikh Saud and commended the comprehensive and sustainable development of Ras Al Khaimah, which has strengthened the Emirate's economic and tourism position both regionally and globally.
