ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)
Zayed International Airport (AUH) confirmed that it remains fully operational despite recent adverse weather.
Abu Dhabi Airports is closely collaborating with airlines and service staff to continue serving passengers smoothly.
AUH released a statement on X, formerly Twitter, confirming that the airport is operating normally after the unstable weather conditions disrupted flights among many other sectors across the country.
"Following the recent weather conditions, we are pleased to assure our passengers that Zayed International Airport continues to fully operate smoothly," the statement read.
"Passengers are advised to regularly check with their airline for the latest information about their flights and allow adequate time to arrive at our airport considering road closures and traffic delays," the airport advised travelers.
Notably, over the past 24 hours, 21 flights, including one freighter and 20 passenger flights, were diverted from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to AUH.
في أعقاب الظروف الجوية الأخيرة التي تسببت في تأخير الرحلات، يسعدنا أن نؤكد لمسافرينا أن مطار زايد الدولي يواصل العمل بسلاسة.
