The Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) Traffic and Patrol Directorate distributed sweets, flowers, and greeting cards to drivers on various internal and external roads in celebration of Eid Al Fitr.
This comes as part of ADP's efforts to enhance communication with the local community and raise awareness on traffic safety ahead of the festive season.
Director of the Traffic and Patrol Directorate, General Mahmoud Youssef Al-Balushi, extended his warm greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr and and stressed the importance of abiding by traffic laws.
He advised drivers to avoid speeding, stay focused while driving, maintain a safe distance between vehicles, wear seat belts, and use appropriate seats for children.
Officers and members of various traffic departments participated in this initiative, aiming to spread happiness and promote safe driving practices among drivers.
In Al Ain city, awareness brochures were distributed with a barcode that, when scanned with a mobile phone, takes users to an informative video about traffic safety rules.
