Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) successfully arrested an employee for stealing Dh600,000 from a commercial establishment where he worked in Abu Dhabi.
Al Khalidiya Police Station received a report from the commercial establishment in Abu Dhabi, stating that the establishment had been subjected to theft and embezzlement by one of its employees.
Immediately after the report, the criminal investigation patrol from Al Khalidiya Police Station collected information, which resulted in the arrest of the employee. The employee was referred to the Public Prosecution following the arrest.
The commercial establishment thanked the ADP General Command for the quick response to the report.
ADP cautioned owners of commercial establishments to take precautions and preventive measures against crime in order to ensure the speedy arrest of perpetrators.
