Throughout the holy month of Ramadan, Al Ain City Municipality is conducting an initiative to provide food baskets of essential items to over 400 families in need, distributed at a centre in the Al Ain Industrial Area.
The initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent and a number of strategic partners, aligns with the values of giving, volunteering, and community that characterise the culture of the UAE and are increasingly singificant during the holy month.
Al Ain City Municipality is also implementing an initiative to distribute 6,050 Iftar meals at a rate of 200 meals per day throughout the holy month.
The initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent, aims to reinforce the values of giving and humanitarian solidarity, and strengthen the social ties across the entire society of the UAE during the holy month of Ramadan.
The meals are distributed at Nahel Park, Al Jahili Park, Al Maqam Park, Al Salamat Park, Abu Samrah Park, Ramah Rest Area, Noud Area, Aamira Area, and Al Waqan Area.
