ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The Human Resource Directorate team, under the leadership of Abu Dhabi Police (ADP), emerged as the champion in the "Commander General of Abu Dhabi Police" Ramadan tournament held at the Police Sports Education Centre stadiums in Karama and at Al-Wahda Club Academy in Al-Shahama.

A total of 103 players participated within six teams representing different police directorates, with fierce competition witnessed among the teams.

The Special Tasks Sector team secured second place, while the Criminal Security Directorate team finished in third place.

Director of Saif Bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences, Major General Thani Butti Al Shamsi, congratulated the first-place winners for their athletic excellence.

Chairman of Abu Dhabi Police Council, Colonel Dr. Rashid Muhammad Borsheed, praised the sportsmanship, physical fitness, cooperation, camaraderie, and love displayed by the participants. He also commended the police leadership for nurturing and supporting the development of their personnel in sports to achieve outstanding results.

Individual awards were presented to Fadil Ahmed from the HR Directorate as the best player, Walid Salem as the best goalkeeper, and Abdullah Al Hamadi from the Special Task Directorate as the top scorer of the tournament.

The coronation ceremony was attended by Deputy Director of the Police Sports Education Centre, Colonel Sultan Al-Suweidi, along with other officers, affiliates, and a large number of sports enthusiasts.
