Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) celebrated the graduation of the first batch of the Field Training Skills Course held by the European Security Academy ESSCOUnite in Poland.
Graduates acquired their "Tactical Expert" degrees from the internationally renowned entity for accreditation of trainers and professional diplomas.
Director of Saif Bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences, Major General Thani Butti Al Shamsi, reiterated ADP's keenness to keep pace with the latest developments in the field of police training.
He noted that this would contribute to increasing the competence and abilities of their staff members.
This comes as part of ADP's strategic plan aimed at policing the skills of their forces, building their capacities in police training, nurturing their interest in keeping up with the latest techniques to combat crime, and promoting community safety and security.
The programme also offered numerous lectures on various different topics such as tactical shooting, car chasing, data collections, amongst many other subjects.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Mohammad Youssef Al-Hamadi, Director of the Criminal Justice Institute, the head of the delegation, Major Muhammad Matar Al-Hamady, the head of field training department in the Q7 Directorate, and Captain Marwan Muhammad Ahmed, the security patrol liaison officer.
