Move over ChatGPT, CharityGPT on popular communication app Botim is making the holy month of Ramadan, the season of giving, more meaningful for users who can open their hearts to help orphaned children.
The feature is a first in the region, and nine million users on the platform can help support the "Together for Every Orphan" initiative of the Authority of Social Contribution - Ma’an. According to the Ma’an, over Dh4.1 million of the Dh5 million has already been raised for kids without parents.
CharityGPT is easy to use and contributions can be made using simple text commands on the platform. Astra Tech, which runs Botim, has collaborated with Ma’an, to roll out this charitable feature during the holy month. It proves that technology like AI can be used to support people in need, and the launch during the holy month of Ramadan makes it clear that technology and philanthropy can go hand in hand.
