ABU DHABI (WAM)
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM), through the City Planning Sector - Environment, Health and Safety Department, organised the Golden Helmet Award Ceremony to honour the third session's award winners.
The winners work at companies operating in the building and construction sector, including contractors and consultants within the municipality's geographical scope.
Held in the presence of the Director-General of ADM, Saif Badr Al Qubaisi, the ceremony witnessed the honouring of the companies that won the award categories and met the relevant criteria.
The main goal is to foster competition among participants, leading to the improvement and development of health and safety practices within the construction sector.
Additionally, it seeks to strengthen partnerships with the private sector and promote awareness and education in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS). The aim is to reduce occupational incidents, injuries, and property losses.
Moreover, the award encourages construction companies to prioritise commitment, creativity, and innovation in achieving the highest levels of compliance with EHS laws and regulations, All while ensuring the provision of a safe and comfortable working environment for all.
Notably, this award serves as a testament to ADM's unwavering commitment to leading the implementation of best practices in occupational health and safety within the construction sector.
