The Event Security Committee (ESC) in Dubai, led by Major General Rashid Khalifa Al Falasi, Acting Director of the General Department for Organisation Protective Security and Emergency and an ESC board member, inspected the stadium constructed explicitly for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2024.

The stadium, located in the Dubai Design District (d3), is set to host the tournament over 11 days, from February 15 to 25, featuring 16 of the world's top national teams.

Al Falasi was accompanied by Brigadier Mesbah Al Ghafli, Acting Deputy Director of the General Department for Organisation Protective Security and Emergency for Emergency Affairs, Brigadier Nabil Abdullah Al Redha, Director of the Emergency Department, and a number of officers and internal and external partners.

During the visit, Al Falasi reviewed the security measures in place for the 12th edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, emphasising the importance of preparation and teamwork to ensure the event reflects Dubai's leading reputation in hosting, organising, and securing major global events and activities.

The draw for the tournament, held in October, has set the stage for intense competition in the initial round, which features four groups of four teams each, followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final match.
