His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Governments Summit Organisation, in his opening remark at the World Governments Summit said: “If we look throughout history, we will find out that we are living in the best, safest, most prosperous, and healthiest human era, and the most opportune.”
Al Gergawi added “World Governments Summit 2024 is bringing together 85 international organisations, 140 governments, more than 25 heads of states, 700 heads of major international companies, and more than 4,000 experts and officials. We can play an important role in changing the world’s view of many issues and challenges.”
Al Gergawi said that The future of the world can be put in the following figures, representing global trends.
🔹 $17 trillion is the cost of disputes, conflicts and violence around the world.
🔹 50% of global growth comes from China and India alone. China alone filed more than 29,000 patents in the field of artificial intelligence in 2022.
