Ahlan Modi team organisers have closed registration for the event, as the number of people seeking to participate reached venue's upper limit.

The website set up for the purpose says: “The registrations for Ahlan Modi 2024 are now closed. Due to the overwhelming response from the Indian community in UAE for the historic celebration of Indo-UAE relations in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 13, we have to stop accepting new registrants.”

Ahlan Modi is a community event where the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will meet and addres Indian expatriates living in the UAE. The event is scheduled to be held on February 13 evening at Zayed Sports City Stadium.

Speaking to Aletihad, Dr. Nishi Singh, Director of Communications of Team Ahalan Modi, confirmed that the number of registrants reached the estimated comfortable seating capacity of the stadium.

Singh said that the registration details are being verified, and the confirmation letters will be sent very soon.

When asked if organisers are making any additional arrangements following the unprecedented response, Singh confirmed that the organisers have no further plans at this time, adding that any updates on this front will be shared.

Zayed Sports City Stadium’s official website says that size is never a limit when it comes to delivering unforgettable experiences, stating that the venue once accommodated 135,000 people in “the UAE’s largest ever gathering.”
