Mbazzarah Al Khadra or Green Mbazzarah is a unique tourism destination in Al Ain city, known for its breathtaking natural scenery. It attracts thousands of visitors from inside and outside the UAE with its wintery atmosphere, hot springs, and extended green spaces.
Aside from enjoying the beauty and calmness of its nature, Mbazzarah Al Khadra offers visitors access to an array of entertainment and leisure facilities.
What distinguishes Mbazzarah Al Khadra the most is its temperate climate which makes it a popular destination all year round, especially during summer, as it provides a wonderful natural outlet for families to gather in a wonderful scene, marked by extended green spaces, dense canopy, rising water fountains, as well as barbecue and play areas.
Abdallah Hamad, who lives in Al Ain city, stressed that Mbazzarah Al Khadra is one of the most beautiful and popular natural areas in Al Ain city, frequented by the thousands of visitors from inside and outside the country.
Owing to the growing interest of the wise leadership, Mbazzarah Al Khadra now meets the needs of visitors from all age groups, allowing them to enjoy sprawling greenery and incredible views, in addition to services and facilities that Al Ain Municipality is keen to provide to visitors to ensure that their experience is enjoyable.
Sarah Hasan, a resident, noted that she visited Mbazzarah Al Khadra over five times, despite living outside Al Ain city.
Hasan noted that she enjoyed it a lot with her family and friends due to its myriad unique qualities, such as the hot water spring as well as the covered and open swimming pools for men, women, and children distributed around the area.
Development Plans
Al Ain Municipality continues to implement developmental plans in the Mbazzarah area, including establishing a lake for water flowing from wells, building roads, setting up umbrellas and seats, along with parking areas, resting areas for visitors, and separate swimming pools for men and women.
In the middle of Green Mbazzarah lake surrounded by a corniche, one of the highest fountains in the middle east was established, rising to a height of 80 metres. Moreover, visitors can enjoy boat rides on the lake, which was formed by the gathering of water from hot springs.
