"We thank UAE Aid for their support through a $25M initiative, which enables us to continue lifesaving work in one of the main referral hospitals in occupied Palestinian territory," the WHO chief wrote in a post on platform X.
The UAE's extensive humanitarian efforts, including dispatching 141 relief flights, 121 trucks, and a relief ship carrying 4016 tonnes of aid to the Gaza Strip and rallying for peace at the United Nations Security Council, have played a significant role in mitigating the hardships faced by the Palestinian people and supporting vulnerable populations in conflict zones.
