Al Falah Police Station, which falls under the Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police, organised a security awareness forum, in cooperation with several strategic partners in the jurisdiction.
The forum discussed various security and societal issues aiming to address negative phenomena, enhance strategic relationships with partners, and introduce distinctive police services to the public. During these discussions, the objectives of the ''We Are All Police'' initiative and its role in serving the community were presented.
Colonel Saeed Abdullah Al Ameri, Director of Al Falah Police Station, reaffirmed the police leadership’s interest in improving the services provided to all different groups and sectors of society and meeting their needs. He also stressed their continuous keenness to enhance security and safety as part of their strategic vision, in order to ensure Abu Dhabi maintains its leading position as ''the safest city in the world,'' and build on their pioneering efforts to achieve high levels of security and safety.
Al Ameri noted Abu Dhabi Police’s efforts to keep pace with technical developments by utilising artificial intelligence. Addressing partners, he stressed the importance of installing surveillance cameras in commercial stores, performing regular maintenance, and ensuring they are working properly at all times. He reaffirmed the significance of security personnel and the important role they play in combating negative phenomena.
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Nasser Al Amiri from the Narcotics Control Directorate spoke about the ''Chance of Hope'' initiative. The programme was launched with the aim of enhancing community awareness on the importance of solidarity between families and the authorities concerned with protecting youth from the dangers of narcotic substances. He stressed that applications and applicants are guaranteed complete confidentiality on their system, which can be accessed on their official website or application.
Captain Fadel Saleh Al Tamimi from the ''We Are All Police'' initiative at the Community Police Department went over the advantages of joining the programme, explaining the relevant tasks and the services provided to participants.
The partners appreciated the efforts of Abu Dhabi Police and its distinguished pioneering role in using the world’s latest advanced technologies to maintain security and safety. They also commended their awareness-raising initiatives which contribute to enhancing crime prevention and confronting it in an efficient and civilized manner.
