HALA AL KHAYYAT (ABU DHABI)
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) has decorated several streets and bridges in Abu Dhabi with hundreds of illuminated panels and geometric formations, celebrating the new Gregorian year 2024.
The aim is to bring joy to the hearts of the community members while welcoming the New Year. The municipality has installed various light formations along Abu Dhabi Corniche, the preferred tourist destination for Abu Dhabi residents and visitors alike, and the most frequented by the public.
Additionally, several streets within Abu Dhabi have been decorated, and lights have been distributed on several bridges, with one of the highlights being the lighting of Al Maqta Bridge, considered one of the main entrances to the city of Abu Dhabi.
The illuminated formations are characterised by attractive colours of white and yellow, and their pulsating movements express joy and optimism for the New Year. The municipality takes safety measures into consideration during the installation of lights and decorations, using high-quality materials. This includes the use of the best types of electrical cables to complete the decoration project, preserving the safety of the public.
The ADM also considers the choice of colours and light emissions, ensuring they do not affect road users and their safety. Additionally, the size of sculptures and light panels are suitable for the dimensions and spaces of the streets, making them safe for road users, both drivers and pedestrians, enhancing safety factors and ensuring the safety of the public and property.
ADM emphasises its commitment to using recyclable materials and employing an energy-efficient LED lighting system. Electrical connections and decorative lights are manufactured from high-quality materials resistant to weather conditions and capable of withstanding all climatic factors.
