The New Media Academy has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Core 42 to enhance the capabilities and potential of “Jais”, the most advanced generative AI model in the Arabic language.
This partnership will create innovative and creative Arabic content tailored to meet the current needs of the media, marketing, and corporate communications sectors. The agreement was signed by Hussain Al Attoli, Director of the New Media Academy, and Andrew Jackson, Executive Vice President and Executive Director of Artificial Intelligence at Core 42, on the sidelines of the second edition of the Global Media Congress, held in Abu Dhabi. Al Attoli said: “Artificial intelligence plays a vital role in advancing societies that seek to invest in its data and benefit from the possibilities it provides in shaping the future.”
He noted that the academy will work to provide more creative and distinctive Arabic texts for “Jais”. Under the deal, content creators can interact with generative artificial intelligence technologies and transform their ideas into reality, while improving their productivity in Arabic.
Andrew Jackson of Core 42, said: “Our strategic partnership with the New Media Academy comes at an ideal time, as we continue to lead in the field of research and development of generative artificial intelligence applications in Arabic, following the recent launch of the most advanced model of ‘Jais’ named ‘Jais 30B’”. He said the company will work with more creators, academics, and developers through Jais, while “accelerating growth and improving user experience”.
