During the meeting, Sheikh Saud welcomed the two astronauts and the centre’s delegation, commending the team’s work spirit that led to the success of the longest space mission in Arab history.

Sheikh Saud was also briefed by Al Mansoori, who is the first Arab to be responsible for monitoring an ISS mission, about his related role, which included supporting Al Neyadi and their colleagues and coordinating experiments and daily tasks on the ISS.

In his comments on the meeting, Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Saud and Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud for their warm welcome and for supporting the historic space mission of Al Neyadi, which marked a landmark in the UAE’s space efforts.
