The weather will continue to be rainy and windy during this week, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). The forecast for Monday is partly cloudy in general, with a chance of some convective cloud formation, associated with rainfall over some coastal, northern, and eastern areas.
Winds will be light to moderate, fresh to strong at times (reaching up to 45kmph) with clouds causing blowing dust and sand.
The sea will be moderate to rough at times, especially with clouds in the Arabian Gulf, and slight to moderate with chances of getting rough with clouds in Oman Sea.
The UAE recorded its lowest temperature of the day (11.8°C) on Ras Al Khaimah's Jais Mountain.
NCM issued yellow and orange alerts until 9.00pm today.
The NCM predicts wet weather for parts of the country from November 6-10, with rainfall over some Coastal, Eastern, Western and Northern areas, extending over some internal areas.
