Partly cloudy skies persist in forecast for week ahead

The week ahead promises to bring diverse weather patterns to the region, with alternating conditions of partly cloudy skies and chances of rainfall in different areas, according to the Weather Bulletin published by the National Center of Meterology.

On Tuesday, fair to partly cloudy skies will continue, with chances of convective cloud formations, which are associated with rainfall, over the eastern, western, and coastal of the country. Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds at speeds ranging from 10 to 20 km/hr, and up to 40 km/hr in some areas, are forecast. The sea will be fair in the Arabian Gulf and fair in the Sea of Oman.

Moving further into the week, fair to partly cloudy conditions persist, with possible convective cloud formation leading to rainfall in the eastern and western regions. Wednesday night conditions are expected to be humid, which will continue into Thursday morning, mostly in the western regions of the country. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 km/hr, and up to 35 km/hr, are expected. Sea conditions are expected to be fair in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Towards the end of the week, the weather forecast shows fair to partly cloudy skies on Thursday, with clouds appearing in the eastern and western parts of the country. There remains a possibility of convective cloud formation in the afternoon, with humid conditions expected Thursday night into Friday morning in internal and coastal areas.  Light to moderate Southeasterly and Northeasterly winds are expected, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 km/hr, and up to 30 km/hr. The sea conditions will remain fair in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Friday morning, partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are forecast, with some convective cloud formation projected to occur in the western areas of the country. Also on Friday, low cloud formations will appear over some coastal and internal areas. Friday night conditions are expected to be humid, which will continue into Saturday morning, bringing the possibility of fog or mist formation over coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northwesterly winds, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 km/hr, and up to 40 km/hr, are also expected. Sea conditions will be fair to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. 

On Saturday, partly cloudy to cloudy weather remains in the forecast, with clouds appearing over some internal and eastern areas. Humidity is expected to continue on Saturday night and into Sunday morning over some coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate Southwesterly to Northwesterly winds with speeds ranging from 10 - 25 km/hr and up to 40 km/hr are expected. Sea conditions will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf, and fair in the Sea of Oman.
