ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The first round of the UAE Formula 4 Powerboat Championship concluded as part of the Abu Dhabi Marine Festival, organised by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, with the participation of nine powerboats.

The contest saw a highly competitive atmosphere that extended over two days, and witnessed strong technical performances reflecting the growing development of Formula 4 powerboat racing on the local level.

The combined results of the two days crowned Ismat Adel Ismat of the Black Pharaoh Team in first place, followed by Salem Al Yafie from the American University Team in second place, while Ezzeddine Ahmed Saleh of the Black Pharaoh Team secured third place.

At the conclusion of the round, the winners were honored in the presence of Saif Saif Al Suwaidi, Board Member of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club; Thani Al Qamzi, Executive Director of Team Abu Dhabi and Modern Sports at the club; and Nasser Al Dhaheri, Manager of Modern Sports Events at the club.

Nasser Al Dhaheri affirmed that the opening round marked a strong start to the UAE Formula 4 Powerboat Championship season, noting that the event successfully achieved its technical and organisational objectives, and provided an important competitive platform for developing drivers’ skills and enhancing their performance.

Al Dhaheri added that hosting the championship within the Abu Dhabi Marine Festival contributed to increasing public engagement and interaction with powerboat racing.
