George Russell of Mercedes topped the final practice for the season-ending Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Saturday ahead of the title contender duo of Lando Norris and Max Verstappen.
Russell doesn't play a role in the drivers' title race, but was the fastest man in third practice with a time of 1 minute 23.334 seconds.
McLaren's Norris was 0.004s behind, while Red Bull's Verstappen was third, 0.124s off the pace.
Oscar Piastri, who also still has chances of clinching the title in Abu Dhabi, was fifth behind the Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso.
The Haas duo of Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman were sixth and seventh respectively and Charles Leclerc of Ferrari, Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes and Alex Albon of Willims completed the top 10.
There was a red flag halfway through the session after Lewis Hamilton of Ferrari spun off and hit the barriers front wing first.
The final race of the season in Abu Dhabi is set to be a dramatic one.
Norris tops the drivers' championships 12 points over Verstappen and 16 over Piastri.
If Norris finishes on the podium at Yas Marina, he will be world champion and it wouldn't matter where his two rivals cross the line.
Qualifying for Sunday's race is later on Saturday.
