Bruno Fernandes scored a stoppage-time penalty as Manchester United claimed their first Premier League win of the season with a last-gasp 3-2 success over Burnley on Saturday.

The Portuguese made amends for a missed spot-kick last week to spare manager Ruben Amorim more blushes after United's midweek League Cup humiliation by fourth-tier Grimsby.

Casemiro's header hit the bar for the hosts and rebounded into the net off Josh Cullen to give United a first-half lead but the Clarets replied through Lyle Foster.

Jaidon Anthony scored a second equalizer after Bryan Mbeumo restored United's lead but Fernandes had the final say.

Chelsea claimed a controversial 2-0 win over west London rivals Fulham at Stamford Bridge.

Fulham's Josh King contentiously had a goal disallowed for a foul in the build-up before Joao Pedro put the hosts ahead.

Another disputed decision saw Chelsea awarded a penalty for handball against Ryan Sessegnon. Enzo Fernandez scored from the spot.

A fifth-minute goal from Evanilson proved the difference as Bournemouth claimed a 1-0 win at Tottenham.

The Brazilian struck from a tight angle with the aid of a deflection off Cristian Romero.
