ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)
Under the patronage of His Highness Hamdan bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, the Abu Al Abyad 60ft Dhow Sailing Race, organised by Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, will take place in Abu Dhabi from October 5-6, 2024, from Abu Al Abyad to Abu Dhabi Breakwater, attracting dhow owners and elite sailors.
Registration for the Abu Al Abyad 60ft Dhow Sailing Race has opened through the club’s website and is expected to attract more than 100 sailing dhows and award more than Dh4 million in prizes.
The Abu Al Abyad 60ft Dhow Sailing Race reflects the UAE leadership's continuous support for events that preserve the UAE’s heritage activities, and highlights Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club's vision to promote and maintain the UAE's maritime heritage for future generations.
