The 19th edition of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, part of the inaugural DP World Tour Play-Offs, will take place at Yas Links Golf Club, Yas Island, from November 7-10, 2024, with some of the world’s leading players participating.

Organised by Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC), the DP World Tour Rolex Series event will feature the top 70 players in the Race to Dubai rankings, who will compete for a place in the final event of the season, which takes place at Dubai’s Jumeirah Golf Estates from November 14-17.

Current Race to Dubai Champion Rory McIlroy, along with 2024 Olympic Silver Medallist Tommy Fleetwood, are confirmed to be participating, along with former World Number Ones Adam Scott and Justin Rose.

DP World Tour winners Robert MacIntyre and Thriston Lawrence will also be competing, with MacIntyre having secured a win  at the Genesis Scottish Open in July, the second Rolex Series event of the year.

The General Secretary of ADSC, His Excellency Aref Hamad Al Awani, said, “We are proud to see the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the fourth Rolex Series event of the year, return to Yas Links for the third consecutive time. We are delighted to welcome back a line-up of international stars who will compete on this stunning course once again. We wish everyone the best of luck and look forward to providing an unforgettable experience for the fans during a weekend full of excitement and competition.

“Abu Dhabi Sports Council is committed to hosting major prestigious international tournaments, having achieved great success in attracting the most prominent and important events to the emirate. It is an indication of the UAE and Abu Dhabi’s prowess in organising sports tournaments on a global scale, which has contributed to promoting the country through mutual trust with international federations and bodies that own the rights to popular sports franchises.”

The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship will provide a full programme of family-friendly events throughout the tournament, including activities dedicated to children, large screens to enhance the viewing experience and other attractions, such as concerts, in addition to a Ladies Day and Family Day.
