Abu Dhabi Police win seven medals in Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Jordan

AMMAN (ALETIHAD)

The Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) Academy for Jiu Jitsu collected seven medals (six gold and one silver) at the AJP Championship in Jordan (GI and NO-GI categories).

The head of ADP's Sports Council, Colonel Dr Rashid Mohammad Bourshid, praised ADP's unique achievements in their sporting careers.

He congratulated the Jiu Jitsu team for the outstanding results achieved in the tournament and commended the efforts of the administrative and athletic supervisory staff at the Police Sports Education Center of the Competitions and Elections Department for their dedication and good work.

The championship highlighted the brilliance of the athlete Ahmed Almashjari (blue belt), who won two gold medals in the under 62 kg weight category in both the GI and NO-GI categories.

As for the athlete Ahmed Al-Zaabi (purple belt), he won two gold medals in the under 56 kg weight category in both the GI and NO-GI categories.

Athlete Zayed Alkatheeri (black belt) continued the path of excellence for the Abu Dhabi Police Academy with a gold medal in the U69 weight category in the GI category.

Athlete Jaber Al-Baloushi (purple belt) added to the medal tally with a gold in the U120 weight category and a silver in the NO-GI category.
