Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club has launched its annual Summer Pony Camp, run by the British Horse Society accredited coaches and tailored for children aged 6-12 years old, according to Abu Dhabi Media Office (ADMO).
Posting on official "X" account, ADMO said: "The camp educates children on the fundamentals of riding and posture in a safe and air-conditioned environment."
The camp activities include: Pony care skills such as grooming, feeding, securing a headcoller, saddle and bridle.
The camp offers creative fun activities, icluding art and craft compitions, mounted pony games, showjumping and treasure hunts. Additionally, the activities focus on understanding horses by learning safety, body language and communication cues.
Furthermore, the actitivies enable the children to learn from the experts, visit the veterinary clinics, farrier forge, learn and engage with BHS approved coaches.
The Pony Camp 2024 dates will start from August 5-7, August 12-14, and from August 19-21.
