Thirty-five people were killed and 30 others injured in a collision between two buses on the Deir Ezzor-Damascus highway, Syria's state news agency SANA reported.
The Ministry of Defence dispatched several helicopters to assist with medical evacuation operations and transport the injured and the victims to Homs Military Hospital.
