The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army said early on Wednesday that Kuwait's air defence systems are engaging with hostile drones and missiles.
The blasts heard in some parts of the country resulted from mid-air interceptions, according to a statement from the General Staff carried by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The statement advised everyone to abide by the safety instructions outlined by the competent bodies.
