Egypt denounced Israel's attack against Hamas leaders in Doha on Tuesday as a "dangerous precedent" that risks security and stability in the Middle East.
Egypt strongly condemns and denounces the aggression by the Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday against Qatar, which targeted a meeting of Palestinian leaders discussing ways to reach a ceasefire agreement.
This attack is a flagrant violation of international law," the Egyptian presidency said in a statement.
"Egypt affirms that this attack sets a dangerous precedent and an unacceptable development, and constitutes a direct assault on the sovereignty of the sisterly state of Qatar, which plays a pivotal role in mediation efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip."
