Earthquake of magnitude 6.3 strikes east of Russia's Kuril Islands, GFZ says

 KURIL ISLANDS (REUTERS) 

An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 struck in waters off Russia's Kuril Islands on Monday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The quake was at a depth of 10 km, GFZ said.
