Four people were stabbed in a knife attack in Tampere in Finland on Thursday.
The incident occurred near a shopping centre, according to the police. One person was arrested, and there is no longer any danger to the public, officers said.
Daily Ilta-Sanomat reported that the person arrested is a Finnish man in his twenties.
At first, the severity of the injuries was unclear, but the victims were given emergency medical treatment. Police said in a later statement that the stabbings had not resulted in any fatalities.
Officials temporarily cordoned off the scene as police interviewed eyewitnesses.
It was unclear what led to the incident.
Tampere is one of Finland's largest cities, located about 160 kilometres north-west of Helsinki, with a population of nearly 250,000.
