Iran has unexpectedly reversed its easing of restrictions on air traffic over the country.
Following "security checks in the current situation," the airspace over the centre and western part of the country has been closed to international flights again, the broadcaster SNN reported on Wednesday, citing a ministry spokesman.
The civil aviation authority had granted initial relaxations and some overflight permits in recent days.
The airport in Tehran, the main destination for international flights, remains closed. The closure will remain in effect until at least Thursday at 2 pm local time, it said.
The tracking portal Flightradar recorded a few isolated flights in eastern Iran.
Iran closed its airspace on June 13 when Israeli attacks began. A ceasefire has now been in place for a week.
