French industry minister Marc Ferracci said in an interview with TF1 TV that Europe should respond in a firm and united manner against U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs, and he added that he hoped this response would happen soon.
U.S. President Donald Trump substantially raised tariffs on steel and aluminium imports on Monday to a flat 25% "without exceptions or exemptions" in a move he hopes will aid the struggling industries in the United States but which also risks sparking a multi-front trade war.
