French President Macron to stay overnight in cyclone-ravaged Mayotte

PARIS (REUTERS) 

French President Emmanuel Macron will stay overnight in the cyclone-ravaged islands of Mayotte, after residents had urged him to stay longer to better understand the situation on the ground, the president's office told pool reporters on Thursday.

Macron will visit more of the territory on Friday.
