Magnitude 6.1 earthquake strikes Vanuatu islands, GFZ reports

(Reuters)

An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 struck the Vanuatu islands on Wednesday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), the GFZ said.
