GAZA (WAM)
Dozens of Palestinians were killed or injured early on Sunday following an Israeli airstrike on Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources reported that Israeli aircraft targeted a five-storey residential building sheltering displaced families, including those from the Ghneim, Aila, and Gabaen families, among others.
The attack resulted in numerous casualties, with many still reported missing under the rubble.
Rescue teams have been unable to provide an exact count of the deceased and injured due to difficulties in accessing the heavily damaged site.
According to initial assessments, the building housed approximately 70 individuals, including numerous children, women, and elderly residents.
