At least 40,476 Palestinians have been killed and 93,647 have been wounded in Israel's military offensive on Gaza since October 7, the Gaza health ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The toll includes 41 deaths in the previous 24 hours, according to ministry figures, which also list 93,647 people as wounded in the Gaza Strip since the war began.
