Families across the UAE have expressed enthusiasm over the return of the Yas Island Summer Club, a seven-week school holiday programme designed for children aged 7 to 13, offering a mix of entertainment, learning opportunities and interactive adventures at some of the island’s most popular attractions.

Running from July 6 to August 21, 2026, the day camp takes place at Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld and CLYMB Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Many parents see the initiative as an ideal way to keep their children active, engaged and entertained during the long summer break, while allowing them to enjoy memorable experiences close to home instead of travelling abroad.

Umm Hind, whose three children are enrolled in the programme, said the summer club offers a perfect balance of fun and personal development.

“We search for summertime activities that will keep our kids engaged and motivated. We were drawn to the Yas Island Summer Club because it offers education and enjoyment in a secure setting. Without having to fly abroad, my three kids are eager to do new things, meet new friends and develop enduring memories.”

Abu Hazza, a father of three children, said the programme provides families with a convenient and rewarding option during the school holidays.

“Travelling is not always necessary for children to have an unforgettable summer. The experiences offered at Yas Island are unique and diverse, and my children are already counting down the days.”

He added: “It gives them the opportunity to explore new interests, build confidence and spend their holiday in a productive way.”
Umm Khalifa, a mother of four, said that the summer club is a great way for kids to have a planned and stimulating vacation.

“It can be difficult to find activities for four kids with varied interests, but the Yas Island Summer Club has plenty to offer everyone. I’m glad my kids will spend their summer exploring new things, learning via play and taking in some of the top attractions in the UAE while being near family,” she said.

Families’ enthusiastic reactions demonstrate the rising need for local summer programmes that blend amusement with personal growth.

Designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and teamwork, the camp will see participants explore a new theme park each day, while taking part in interactive challenges, hands-on workshops, immersive experiences and exciting rides.

The enhanced schedule will provide three alternating weeks, meaning no two days will be the same.

The seven-week camp will run Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm. Day Camp options are also available. There are discounted rates for siblings and Yas Annual Passholders.
