For the fourth year in a row, Umm Al Emarat Park is hosting The Rage, running from January 7 to 11, turning the well-known Abu Dhabi attraction into a thriving centre of entertainment, culture, and creativity.

For locals and visitors alike, the five-day festival offers a unique winter experience with a dynamic blend of live performances, inventive activations and varied food options.

This year’s Tokyo-inspired programme, which is aimed at all age groups, encourages family-friendly interaction in keeping with the UAE’s Year of the Family.

Throughout the event, visitors can take part in interactive activities, see fashion showcases, and hear live music performances that bring the park to life and promote a sense of community and shared celebration.

Tokyo’s rich culture, craftsmanship and modern inventiveness serve as the inspiration for The Rage’s “We Meet in Tokyo” theme.

The theme is carefully adapted for UAE audiences, fostering community spirit, connection and cultural exchange.

Visitor Hanan Abdullah commended the event’s meticulous organisation. She remarked: “I was truly impressed by how well organised everything was when I visited The Rage at Umm Al Emarat Park.

“From the overall setup to the tiniest details, the Tokyo-inspired theme was such a novel idea. Whether it was through menu items like matcha cookies, Japanese-style burgers, or inventive takes on comfort food, what truly stood out was how each restaurant and café embraced the concept in its own unique manner.”

She said that the experience was immersive and pleasurable without being hurried because of the diversity of stores, fantastic music, and laidback vibe.

Adnan Al Ajami, another guest, appreciated the event’s focus on families. “We felt as though we had entered another world as soon as we entered Umm Al Emarat Park. The vibrant mood was produced by the Tokyo-inspired elements, which included live performances, music, and artistic designs,” he said.

“The visit was a full and unforgettable family experience. My kids loved the interactive activities and my wife and I had time to unwind and try a variety of foods.”

Ahood Ahmed was impressed by the community involvement and innovation. “This year’s The Rage stands out for its obvious emphasis on creativity and social connection,” she said.

“The carefully chosen fashion shows, interactive workshops, and live music performances allowed guests to take part rather than just watch. The occasion perfectly captures the essence of the Year of the Family and validates Umm Al Emarat Park’s status as a cultural and entertainment hub that unites populations in a distinctive winter environment.”
