Two of the biggest stars in the music business, Diana Ross and Seal, are set to light up Saadiyat Nights as they prepare to share the stage for a one-night-only show on January 9, 2026.
The soul legends have been confirmed as the curtain-raiser acts for the unmissable third season of the open-air concert series, whose stellar line-up already includes Ludovico Einaudi (January 10), Lewis Capaldi (January 17), John Mayer (January 24), Ricky Martin (January 31), Mariah Carey (February 7) and Bryan Adams (February 11).
Diana RossDiana Ross, now an elegant 81, stands as one of the most influential and unmistakable voices in modern music — a cultural icon whose artistry shaped the sound of Motown and inspired generations across genres.
For more than six decades, the American diva has embodied soul, resilience and reinvention, transforming each era of her career with a blend of emotional clarity and effortless glamour.
Ross first rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of The Supremes, Motown’s premier female group and one of the most successful acts of the 1960s. With chart-topping hits such as “Where Did Our Love Go”, “Baby Love” and “Stop! In the Name of Love”.
Ross left The Supremes to pursue a solo career, which began with the hit “Reach Out and Touch Somebody’s Hand” and a No.1 with “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”.
She continued to release hit singles across various genres, including disco, pop, and R&B. Other major hits include “I’m Coming Out,” and the duet “Endless Love” with Lionel Richie.
Ross has earned lifetime achievements, Billboard chart records, a Kennedy Center Honor, and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Seal is one of the most distinguished vocalists and songwriters of contemporary pop and soul — an artist whose unmistakable voice, introspective lyrics, and genre-blending production have shaped the musical landscape for more than three decades.
The 62-year-old Englishman has built a body of work that spans pop, soul, rock, and electronic textures that carry both emotional depth and cinematic scope.
Seal’s breakthrough arrived with his 1991 self-titled debut album, whose lead single, “Crazy”, became an international hit and the record established Seal as a powerful new voice — one capable of bridging underground electronic sensibilities with mainstream pop appeal.
His 1994 album, Seal II, included the massive hit “Kiss from a Rose”, which earned him a No.1 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was the standout hit of the “Batman Forever” soundtrack.
Seal has won multiple awards, including four Grammy Awards and three Brit Awards.
